I been going back into the rave scene again… okay, just kidding I never went away… I wanted to post about Deadmau5 “Joel Zimmerman” one of my top 10 DJ’s in the game right now… Not only that he’s the 4th biggest DJ in the world. I recently was able to meet him in Miami during WMC at the beatport beach party.

Just wanted to share his intro called “Some Chords” he used for Coachella… it’s available to download now @ beatport! 

He’ll be at EDC the 1st day on friday! I’m already on the list, and ready to network & party it up! I’m so excited for the insane line up along w/ the mau5! If you missed him at coachella, your in for a treat.. His new stage up is so insane, it’s just out of this world! & maybe he will be able to perform w/ Tommy Lee on the drums! Very sick! Anyways, i’m hoping for my backstage passes!

Last night was the sold out show for Snoop x DJ Quick x Nippsy Hustle… Dope West Coast show as always w/ the hot boxed arena… u know this…Snoop had many suprised guest, keeping it west coast..

I just love love love Ryan Leslie… Got to peep him out last week @ the Myspace show…If you haven’t heard his CD “Transition,“ you should really reconsider…

We launched our 1st party last week at Citizen Smith…Seriously we put together this event in 48hrs, and it was such a successful show. We had Melanie Fiona perform/host, which her album called “The Bridge” dropped last week.  It’s seriously amazing, and she has one hell of a voice…

Might I add how humble Melanie is! She most def., isn’t a diva… She’s so nice, and she got on a table to perform… That’s whatsup!

Common & Friends September 28, 2009

Saturday @ The Palladium was a sold out show for Common… His friends consist of The Roots, Nas, Ludacris, Talib, Mos Def, Heavy D, Kanye West, and Queen Latifah. How awesome are his friends!! I want to be friends w/ his friends too! =X!

I have to say this was one of the Hands down best concerts everrrr! Crowd partcipent had to be a level of 110% I have to Thank my friend “Dev” who pulled last minute on the ticket! She’s comes through so many times! I owe her big time!* Esp., since we were about to be on the VIP open bar side…I can’t be mad at that!!!

Anyways, I was able to take some clips but, the base for the sound is really bad on my flip…

New boyz kicked off their album “Skinny Jeanz & A Mic” this week. I got a chance to peep them out last night @ Empire for their “Official Release Party.” Really cute kids, they even had their parents support them! Not sure how old they are  but, they mos def., look like they are 12.

The drama at VMA’s September 14, 2009

If you really know me, you know about me and Kanye West @ Summer Jam when he was throwing a fit because he wanted green M&M’s. Well this is worse then that by a million.. I think everyone in the world is on this topic! Poor lil Taylor Swift! I have to give her props for not crying, and just moving fwd. Seriously, Beyonce is a real class act. Not only is she beautiful and talented…damn she’s a professional. She save the whole show!

Kanye disrespecting:

Beyonce having to fix the situation. She won Video of the Year! But, generiously gave Taylor the opportunity to redo her speech. That was so sweet of her.

Not sure if this was for ratings. But, mos def., people were talking about the VMAs this year! It’s kind of sad since, Janet Jackson did an amazing job on giving a tribute to her brother MJ. Nobody is really even talking about it! Kanye stole the show by his dumb outburst.

Btw, why was lil mama on stage and ruining the whole performance w/ Jayz and Alicia Keys? Empire of State became EPIC FAIL once she hit the stage.
